The Information We Collect
Certain of the information provided by JRAid on the JRAid Website is available without JRAid collecting any Personally Identifiable Information from you. However, JRAid does collect Personally Identifiable Information that you provide voluntarily or in the course of using the JRAid Website. In order to submit any information through the JRAid Website, individuals must first register for an account on the JRAid Website. You have a choice as to whether to provide JRAid.com with any Personally Identifiable Information.

Other Personally Identifiable Information Collected in Connection with the JRAid Website
- Individual Waiver forms are available on the JRAid Website and must be completed and returned to JRAid by all Volunteers prior to participating in any volunteer opportunity
- Individual Background Check forms are available on the JRAid Website and must be completed and returned to JRAid by all Volunteers 14 years of age and older prior to participating in any volunteer opportunity
Your Information may be processed by us in the country where it was collected as well as other countries (including the United States) where laws regarding processing of Information may be less stringent than the laws in your country.
How We Use Information
We do not sell, rent or trade any of the e-mail addresses provided through the JRAid Website to outside parties. We use the Information we collect about you to facilitate the volunteering process and to provide information to you about JRAid and related to volunteer opportunities.
We use return e-mail addresses to send e-mails and to answer the e-mail we receive. We will also use Personally Identifiable Information for the purpose you provide, for instance to advise you of particular volunteer events or special volunteer opportunities. We may use our e-mail lists for sending newsletters and other JRAid outbound communications, such as product enhancements, tool upgrades, or news regarding volunteer opportunities.
Though we will make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose Personally Identifiable Information when required by law or if we have a good-faith belief that the action is necessary to comply with a pending judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on JRAid or to protect our rights or the rights of others, to fight fraud, identity theft, to ensure the integrity and operation of our organization and systems, or to protect the rights, property or safety of JRAid, its employees, members or others.
Cookies, Web Beacons, Clear Gifs, and IP Addresses
Additionally, we may use IP address information to count and track aggregate visits to the JRAid Website, to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer the JRAid Website. JRAid does not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, so while a particular user's session can be tracked, the user remains completely anonymous.
Third-party Access and Use
Occasionally, we hire third-party service providers to help provide or improve the services we offer you. How You Can Review Or Correct Your Personally Identifiable Information
As a user with an account on the JRAid Website, you may review and make changes to all of your Personally Identifiable Information that we collect and maintain online by simply logging in to the JRAid website by inputting your username and password where indicated and following the instructions provided.
After you login in, you may make any changes or correct factual errors in your account by changing the information in your account. This option is available 24 hours a day to better safeguard your Personally Identifiable Information, subject to downtime for standard maintenance and support. We welcome Volunteers of all ages, including children under the age of thirteen. Due to our status as a non-profit organization, we are not required to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). However, we strongly encourage our volunteers aged thirteen and under to use our services only with parental consent and supervision. Moreover, users of the JRAid website who are under the age of 18 must provide JRAid with the e-mail address of a parent or legal guardian. JRAid will use the e-mail address of a parent or legal guardian to send an Individual Waiver form to be signed by the parent or legal guardian and returned to JRAid .
Opting-out of Communications
We may use our e-mail lists for sending out JRAid outbound communications unrelated to specific volunteer opportunities, such as product enhancements, tool upgrades, or membership news. Registered members are required to receive these communications.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of Personally Identifiable Information, we have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Personally Identifiable Information we collect online, and we make good faith efforts to store your Personally Identifiable Information in a secure operating environment. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personally Identifiable Information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. If JRAid provides you with a user name and password to access portions of the Website or as part of your subscription, JRAid disclaims any responsibility for a breach of privacy as a result of your willingly or inadvertently disclosing your user name and password to others.
