JRAid’s Community Partnerships
JRAid proudly works in conjunction with its community partners to provide an extended array of services.
JRAid Home Repairs and Modifications Program
JRAid’s Home Repair Program is sponsored by JFRE, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Real Estate affinity group. JFRE connects, engages, and mobilizes volunteer and financial resources of the Philadelphia real estate industry to impact the Jewish community’s most critical needs and priorities, today and into the future. JRAid and JFRE act in partnership with Federation Housing, Inc. and JEVS Human Services to provide home modifications and home repairs to families in need. Both FHI and JEVS are highly experienced in successfully providing these services.
Sample services include:
- Basic plumbing
- Replacing door locks and keys
- Replacing broken doors, windows, and window screens
- Replacing batteries in smoke detectors
- All aspects of home modification including assessment, installation and instruction
